·         CitiGroup, World’s largest financial institution.  Developed and implemented a new Cash Reconciliation System that has enabled over 180 accountants to reconcile cash and related accounts on a daily basis.  It has facilitated the investigation of outstanding items resulting in the reduction of the contingent liability from $22 billion to $25 million.  This success has given stability to over 240 department employees. 
 

·         AEC Inc., $100 million manufacturer of robots for the automotive and industrial manufacturing industries.  Interim Cash Manager.  Developed 30 day Cash Management system,.  Managed and provided for cash requirements on a daily basis.  Provided stability and managed banking relationships.  Provided "Due Diligence" schedules to external and bank auditors and acquiring corporation - the Harbour Group of St. Louis.

·         Archibald Candy Corporation, $250 million manufacturer of America’s premier chocolate candies: Fannie May & Fanny Farmer, Sweet Factory, and Laura Secord Candies. Over 750 retail stores. Developed Strategic Planning and Budgeting system for officers and directors.  The Financial Plan and Budget was used to obtain $20 million in working capital. 
 

·         Successories, Chicago based retailer and direct marketing group of “Success and Motivational” tools, wall décor, and accessories with 75 retail stores nationwide.  Developed Budgeting System for managers, directors, and officers.  Budget generated was used to obtain $12 million loan for working capital and new building.  Moved into new building September 1, 1997.
 

·         Frankel & Company, Chicago’s third largest marketing firm.  Clients: McDonald’s, U. S. Post Office, Sprint, Ameritech, Ford Motor
Company. Developed Financial Planning Budgeting System for over 40 account executives and officers.  Provided multi-level consolidated financial statements for the officers of this $80 million corporation. 
 

·         UOP, designers of oil and gas processing refineries and manufacturers of related products.  Developed Project Management Document Control System for major business group:  Process Plants Technology Center encompassing mechanical, process, and controls groups. The documents control system manages the drawings, revisions, and literature for the construction of gas processing refineries around the world. 

This system impacts a project management group of 12 project managers, over 75 engineers, and over 20 support personnel.  It eliminated one support person and up to 10 hours per week. 

·         National Excelsior Company, Wholesaler of HVAC Equipment to new home builders.  Interim Controller for this distressed company.  Acquired by TEC, Inc., Temperature Equipment Company.  Assisted new parent company officers with new "start-up".  Established new general ledger after acquisition.  Managed monthly closing, journal entries, account reconciliations, and cash flow statements.  Implemented system improvements.  Assisted external auditors in year-end audit.
 

·         Krack Corporation, $60 million manufacturer of industrial and commercial refrigeration.  Interim Accounting Manager and Controller.
Managed Accounting department of seven people:  three professional and four support staff.  Managed general ledger, accounts payable, purchase order, fixed assets, payroll, and financial reporting.  Implemented new accounting and cost system using MAPICS on a IBM AS400.
